Rochester has been host to Babies and Bumps, a premier event for expecting and new parents for 5 years. This year there is a companion event to meet the needs of the families that have grown too old to benefit from Babies and Bumps… introducing Toddlers and Tykes, an event for parents of children ages 2-5. Now that you have the basics of parenting under your belt take the next step to learn more about choosing the right preschool, child safety, activities that will support both physical and mental growth and more.

Get a crash course in potty training by attending Ditch the Diapers: Potty Training 101, presented by Michael J. Gavin, M.D. Now that your child is on the move and not confined to a stroller learn about the best ways to keep your family safe during KidSmartz: Child Safety, presented by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, NY Regional Office. Macaroni Kid is personally excited to check out the cooking demonstrations, to learn more about involving kids in the cooking process and discover a few new kid-tested and approved recipes.
Toddlers and Tykes will be held on April 9, 2017 from 9:30am- 2:00pm at the RIT Inn and Conference Center, located at 5257 West Henrietta Rd. Rochester, NY 14467. Demonstrations and seminars will be held throughout the day, various local organizations and artisans will be sharing what Rochester has to offer your growing family.
