My older two boys ages 10 and 7 attended camp at Powder Mills Park hosted by Swain Resort over the holiday break. As a busy Mom of 4 young boys I'm not able to bring all 4 of my little kids to a ski resort often but Powder Mills Park is a perfect alternative for them. They are able to practice on a smaller hill to gear up for the bigger hills at a resort. Swain did a great job following the COVID rules to make sure everyone was social distancing and the equipment sanitized. We absolutely love having this option just minutes away!
Powder Mills is equipped with a gradual ski slope accessed by a single rope tow, an on-site lodge, rental equipment, and experienced ski and snowboard instructors on-hand ready to teach you the fundamental skills you'll enjoy for a lifetime.
Not only do they have camps but they have classes and open skiing dedicated to teaching you and your children how to ski or board.
