Carwyn, The Messenger Gnome

Carwyn is hand-felted using 100% natural wool fiber. He wears a hazelwood-colored coat and soft eggshell white cap.  He holds a red heart balloon and is ready to deliver a message of love on your behalf.

Each product made by MJ & Me is made by hand with lots of love and a little bit of magic!  We love to tell stories with our creations and hope that they spark the imagination of your inner child. 

Gnomes are magical beings.  They are ancient, very wise, and good-natured.  Their main objective is to protect the earth and to live long, happy lives with their families.  They know that their survival depends upon the delicate balance of all living things.  This is why they are incredible stewards of the forest. 

While they would never give up their forest homes they will, at times, adopt a family and even spend time in that family’s home, barns, and fields.  The gnome first spends quite a bit of time observing a family in order to determine that the family is kind, virtuous, care for both animals and plant life, and is basically well-intentioned.  Gnomes have been known to go as far as helping or being “protective” over very special humans and even whole families.  If you adopt a gnome into your home, you must first vow that you and your family fit those criteria. 

This being said, gnomes rarely speak to humans and will appear as if they are "frozen" whenever a human is near.  They will protect your home and family, watching over you while you sleep and protecting your home while you are away.  If you do choose to bring a gnome into your home, don't be surprised if your health improves, your gardens and houseplants grow bigger and greener, and good luck, health, and prosperity begin to routinely come your way.  Gnomes are especially loving toward children.  Children with troubles sleeping find that if they whisper their worries to their gnome before bed, the gnome will tuck their worries tight under his cap for the night, and your child can sleep soundly.
