The RMSC is excited to announce it’s newest exhibit: Sean Kenney’s Animal Super Powers® Made with LEGO® brickspresented by the Summit Federal Credit Union.

“The Summit has been helping our members build great financial futures for over 83 years,” commented Twanda Christensen, Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement. “Partnering with the RMSC by sponsoring this extraordinary exhibition seems like a natural fit. We are excited to join them in welcoming tens of thousands of people from all over our region to enjoy these amazing, one-of-a-kind creations.”

In this traveling exhibit, visitors will encounter larger-than-life sized animal sculptures made by Brooklyn-based artist Sean Kenney–constructed entirely out of thousands of LEGO® bricks. Each animal in the exhibit showcases a unique “superpower” within the animal kingdom, so visitors can not only marvel at the scale of the artwork but learn about some of nature’s brightest-hued superheroes.

Sean Kenney is an award-winning, Brooklyn-based artist from New York City who has been designing and creating art with LEGO bricks for over 15 years. He utilizes his artistic and engineering knowledge to create captivating works of art that depict our natural world. He was first gifted LEGO toys at the age of 4, and pursued his passion of building by play through adolescence and into his adult years.

“We’re thrilled to invite guests to not only follow their innate curiosity to learn, but to be inspired to build their own creations. This exhibit is a perfect entry point for people of all ages to engage in STEM learning,” said Hillary Olson, RMSC President & CEO. The exhibit will include a creation station where visitors can get hands-on to tinker and build their own masterpieces with LEGO® bricks. RMSC members receive an exclusive preview of the exhibit before it opens to the public on September 26 & free entry throughout the run of this exhibit.
