TYKEs presents… Hercules

and your child can perform live on the TYKEs stage!

By Kelly Zaryk, Publisher and Editor of Macaroni Kid Eastside of Rochester November 20, 2024

TYKEs’ (Theatre Young Kids Enjoy) at the JCC is partnering with Missoula Children's Theatre for their 20th annual show-in-a-week – BACK by very popular demand!

March 10-15, 2025

For this year’s show, TYKEs welcomes audiences to Ancient Greece. The Olympic Games are starting soon, and the Cyclops and Titans are both expecting to win big — but the tournament can’t start without Hercules. Will the legendary strongman of the ancient world spark the flame and start the festivities on time, or will his legendary tardiness get in the way? A jovial story with a meaningful message that true strength lies not in our muscles but in our character.

Aspiring young thespians can enjoy the epic adventure in two ways: as an audience member or as a performer! Fabulous on-stage roles for kids ages five and up in this full-scale musical complete with sets, props and costumes! No prior acting experience necessary.
