The New York Museum of Transportation is dedicated to preserving transportation history of our area. Exhibits include trolley cars, steam locomotive, highway and horse drawn vehicles, huge model railroad and the Midtown Plaza Monorail. A Vintage trolley ride is included with admission, providing a historic experience, unigue in New York State, on a two mile round trip through scenic countryside. The gallery features a short video about the Rochester Subway, and a well stocked gift shop caters to the interests of all ages. Celebrate a birthday or other event by holding it in a trolley car inside the museum seating 36. Open Sundays only, late May through October, and again at Christmas holiday time.
